We’re looking for an experienced Cafe Manager to join The Food Hall Café and manage our onsite Bakery / Patisserie and Gelateria. With a continental inspired menu serving anything from quality hot beverages to a delicious array of freshly made sandwiches, desserts and cakes. You’ll have real personality, be passionate about fabulous customer service and build great rapport with customers, all whilst being a hands on manager and the face of the venue.

About the Job
As Cafe Manager you’ll be responsible for managing the Cafe to the highest of standards, working with your team you’ll ensure the cafe is set up and ready at all times of service, and that staff are providing a warm and welcoming service. It’s important that we maintain good communication within the cafe and across all departments to ensure we work effectively and create a seamless customer experience. You’ll take full ownership of running the café, leading from the front and being fully accountable for Profit & Loss.
You’ll be confident and have experience managing a small team in a very busy environment. The role will also include writing rotas, controlling labour costs, financial budgeting and planning, some P&L management (desirable) as well as ordering stock and ensuring service standards are at the highest level. You’ll have responsibility for managing staff performance, recognition, training and development.
You’ll be able to drive sales, propose ideas to implement into the business and work with the kitchen team to drive the food sales. The role has a great deal of scope and the successful Manager will have a great opportunity to push themselves and the business further, develop their career and be rewarded for their success.
