We are very excited to announce Bowland Food Hall is a finalist in the Guild of Fine Food’s Shop of The Year Awards! The winners won’t be awarded until September but getting through to the final stage is a wonderful achievement especially in our first year of opening.
The initial 150 entries across 4 categories were whittled down to just 42 shops across the UK ranging from independent deli’s to farm shops and garden centres. From there the panel of judges – including Edward Berry of The Flying Fork, Stuart Gates, Tracey Colley and Georgina Mason from Gonalston Farm Shop rated scored and gave feedback on every aspect of the shops to generate the finalists from each category.
The final award will be announced later in the year so we look forward to hearing how we get on and have all our fingers crossed!
