Clitheroe Food Festival Music Line Up

We are very excited to welcome back some of our favourite live acts as well as some brand new faces to the outdoor stage at Holmes Mill on Saturday 11th August.

DJ Sam Flanagan

Sam plays the best classic soul, funk and disco and is sure to have everyone dancing in between the live acts!

Alex Hulme – 2.30pm – 3pm

Alex played an engine room session with us back in May and is a seasoned folk and acoustic singer-songwriter. He has received plaudits from Paul McCartney, Billy Ocean and Janice Long, with his work receiving critical acclaim from Ultimate Guitar and the BBC. He conquers the intricate layering of loops on a live stage that would put many to shame; his live show is intense and joyous to watch at every turn.

Caroline Eve – 3.45pm – 4.30pm

Sochia Enos – 4.30pm – 5pm

Jake Heaton Band – 5pm – 5.45pm

Hailing from North West, ‘The Jake Heaton Band’ is a musically dedicated 4-piece Alt Rock original/covers band based in Preston.

Playing exciting and eye catching originals and well known covers with the bands own twist on them, the band never fail to put a good, lively show.

The bands originals pack a punch of bands such as Arctic Monkeys, Kasabian and Bon Jovi.

Jake Heaton, award winning guitarist, fronts the band. He drowns his sorrows by writing songs, which then get played in the band. He has played all over the country doing session work or his own solo gigs, he has also recorded at Abbey Road with David Bowie’s producer, played London’s Ronnie Scott’s Jazz Club and famous music venue KoKo, and more.

Louise Spiteri Trio – 6.15pm – 7pm

Louise is a versatile singer with plenty of experience gigging all over the country at all kinds of events. She has performed at lots of cool venues including Blackpool Winter Gardens, Blackpool Tower Ballroom, Various grand theatres (supporting chubby brown), O2 Birmingham, The Palace Manchester and supported/worked with Jocelyn Brown, Kenny Thomas, Ozzy Osbourne, The Brand New Heavies & Carleen Anderson.

She has an extensive repertoire of songs …. cool & popular but not the same old stuff you’ve heard a thousand times before!

Good Foxy – 7.30pm – 9.30pm

With the sounds of Led Zeppelin, Jeff Buckley, The Meters and many other insanely sweet artists in mind, Good Foxy began to make a music which well exceeded their years.
Though they had begun with their heroes Cream, and recent successes Tame Impala in mind, Good Foxy had soon developed their own ethereal, unforgettable sound. After the self-financed recording of an acclaimed album whose diverse charm is now catching the attention of radio stations around the country and across the world, the band has cemented its fearsome live reputation with slots at festivals in 2017 including The Great Escape, Y NOT, Solfest and Beat-Herder, also nailing slots for the sold out Kendal Calling Festival, and Beat-Herder in 2018.
